Staff and their Dogs

Adam and his first dog, Finnegan the wheaten terrier.
Peter doesn't yet have his own dog, but he's got a bunch of little buddies at AJ's.
Rainbeau has a special place in Jackie's heart and thinks she is his "second mum". He is an 11 year old bassett hound who has his own rule book which we have all had to learn. Rainbeau has lived in China frequently and has a lot of "confucious says".

Sam, yellow lab/duck toller X found in a ditch following a car accident which resulted in a fractured hip and pneumonia. Sam was 6 years old when he was adopted from the Vancouver SPCA hospital where he had been recovering from his injuries and returned by two foster families. Jackie was his third foster home and she decided to keep him despite his physical and emotional disabilities. Sam is now 12 years old and as well adjusted as he can be.

Harley, a rottie who is now 9 years old was adopted at 4 years of age from a shelter where he had been for 10 months. He was ematiated, depressed and had a fractured neck. He does not trust people and will bite, but likes dogs. Harley is well adjusted in Jackie's home and excellent obedience including a "no bite" command making it possible to meet people and not bite. He loves his companion dogs.

Jackie and Jamie. Jamie is her orphan puppy who is her joy. Jamie thinks he is the daycare ambassador of "meet and greet". He's mister "Hey, it's me! Pet me!"
 
 
 

Bettina is our bookkeeper and dog lover.

Nemo, her "Big boy" is a 4 year old deaf great dane who loves life and has better obedience than most dogs, all on hand signals!

Katinka is her 5 month old great dane. She is more of a handful than her mellow big brother; she loves life with gusto.

They are the joy of Bettina's life and are both very lucky to have found her.
